Scorsese is back. My two favourite actors of all-time, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, deliver brilliant performances. Pacino is very 'Pacino' but it's great to see him work with Scorsese. Joe Pesci delivers an understated performance and it is all the more impressive for it. He is perhaps the stand-out performance.

Sept 17th Absolutely beautifully shot. Great colour palette and camera movement / framing. Worth watching for this alone. The main story is also told with subtlety and care. Harvey Keitel and Holly Hunter are excellent in the lead roles, having a great dynamic between them. It pulls the viewer one way and then flips in another direction with wonderful craft. The score perfectly matches the great cinematography. Some of the frames and compositions are among the most memorable that I have seen.
